A. 2019 296 Approval to purchase a New TB260 2019 Taheuchi Mini Excavator with Rubber Tracks and Open Cab through Sourcewell Contract # 091615 URI United Rentals Branch 951, 1151 Northpoint Parkway Acworth, Georgia 30102. Funded by the FY20 Vehicle Replacement Fund for a total Cost of $55,295.75 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
B. 2019 299 Award RFQ 20 001 City of Smyrna Resurfacing Projects to the lowest bidder Bartow Paving Company Inc. 1055 Rowland Springs Road, Cartersville, GA, 3012, funded by LMIG and SPLOST in the amount of $1,399,805.68 and authorize the Mayor to execute any related documents.
C. 2019 300 Approval to Award RFP 20 005 Video Surveillance Project for Smyrna Jail to the lowest proposer Controlled Access Inc., 1420 Williams Drive, Marietta, GA 30060 funded by FY20 CIP in the amount of $122,650.00 and authorize the Mayor to execute all related documents.
D. ORD2019 1 7 Approve the amendment to the City of Smyrna's Code of Ordinances 7 Chapter 66 entitled Offenses and Miscellaneous Provisions by adding Section 66 17, prohibiting the sales of tobacco products to persons under the age of 21 and prohibiting the possession, use and purchase of tobacco products to person under the age of twenty one (21).

D. 2019 286 Approve the closing of the following streets for the Smyrna Parks and Recreation’s Casper’s Fall Carnival and Movie and the Smyrna United Task Force Event: King Street from Village Green Circle to Bank St., and entire Village Green Circle from Atlanta Rd. from 4:00 PM. 10:00 PM on Friday, October 11, 2019.

Council Meetings: The Mayor and Council of Smyrna meet in open session at 7:00 p.m on the 1st and 3rd Monday night of each month unless altered by a holiday.* Meetings are held in the council chambers located in this building (2800 King Street). Agendas will be prepared in advance, posted and available in the City Clerk’s office or online on the Friday prior to the scheduled meeting.
Pre-Council Meeting Work Sessions will be held before scheduled Council Meetings beginning at 6:00 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Monday night of each month unless altered by a holiday.* Meetings will be held in the 2nd floor conference room in this building (2800 King Street). The City may discuss but not take action on other items as time permits.
Committee of the Whole / Agenda Meetings are usually held on the Thursday at 6:00 p.m. immediately preceding the regularly scheduled Council meetings unless otherwise indicated. Committee of the Whole agendas are prepared in advance and will be posted along with the Council meeting Preliminary agenda. Meetings are held in the first floor HR conference room.(2800 King Street). The City may discuss but not take action on other items as time permits.
