We will make a crude steam engine.
Special note: This activity involves an open flame. Please remember that Tinker Tuesday is not appropriate for younger siblings to attend.

Tinker Tuesday offers hands-on building activities for kids and adults working together. The library's goal for Tinker Tuesday is to provide an opportunity for an adult and a child to learn together and work collaboratively to solve a problem or create something new. Tinker Tuesday is not a drop-in program for all ages. It is designed to be a one-to-one learning experience for elementary-age children and their parent/caregiver. The activities are too complex for children under five years old.

- Please no daycare groups.
- Please do not bring younger siblings.
- Please arrive on time. Tinker Tuesday is not a drop-in activity.

Supplies for Tinker Tuesday were purchased with generous grants from the Friends of Smyrna Library, Gas South, Croy Engineering, Advanced Disposal and Google Fiber.
