Presenter, Zana Pouncey, author of Hiking Metro Atlanta's Hidden Forests: An Hour or Less from Downtown

Description: Think Atlanta is just asphalt? Discover a greener side of Atlanta and gain a fresh perspective on exploring the city's secret trails. Whether you are an avid hiker or just looking for an escape into nature, outdoor leader and environmentalist Zana Pouncey will help you discover the secret historical ruins, urban art, and old-growth forests all within an hour from downtown Atlanta.  

Speaker Bio: Zana Pouncey is an outdoor enthusiast and intersectional environmentalist who believes in an accessible approach to exploring the outdoors. Though she's hiked in some of the most remote and rugged places in the Western hemisphere, the trails near home are closest to her heart.
