SMYRNA LIBRARY CLOSED JUNE 30-JULY 3 FOR SCHEDULED HVAC UPGRADES

The Smyrna Public Library will be closed Monday, June 30, through Thursday, July 3, due to scheduled HVAC upgrades. Additionally, the library closes Friday, July 4, for the Independence Day holiday but will reopen for normal hours on Saturday, July 5. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we accomplish maintenance and repairs. If you have signed up for a program during the closure, please see the information below for changes in location and/or special arrangements for the Book Drop and how we will manage due dates.

Library events scheduled for that week will be relocated to the Reed House, 3080 Atlanta Road, Smyrna, Georgia. Library patrons signed up for these events will receive emails from the library alerting them to the new location.

Additionally, Curbside Pickup of materials placed on hold will be offered Monday, June 30 through Thursday, July 3 at the following times:

• 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
• 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

Curbside signage will instruct library customers to text a posted number to alert library staff who will bring out the materials. Books and materials may also be returned in the Book Drop at any time throughout the week.

The library has altered all existing due dates so that no materials will be due June 30 through July 4. Library customers need not worry about accruing overdue fines.
