Event description: Join us for a craft session to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Celebrate the indigenous history of the Caribbean with an introduction to Taíno history, symbolism, and techniques of Taíno art. Participants can create their own Taíno-inspired art using clay and discuss their symbol choices.
Presenter: Ms. Ana Hogan, a Smyrna Library volunteer, has led four previous art workshops for the library.
All supplies will be provided.
