Celebrate Bat Week by learning about bats and why they are important to us! Join Master Naturalists as they give a presentation on bats, followed by a walk outside to listen for bat calls at sunset with an ultrasonic bat detector.

Presenters: Larry and Laurie Alvor, Master Naturalists and members of the Georgia Bat Working Group, want to bring public awareness of the importance of bats.

Larry Alvor has 35 years of experience in research and development doing material testing in the medical device industry.
Laurie Alvor has a broad range of experiences utilizing her degrees in engineering and education.
