Adult Writing Workshop: “Unearth the Story in You”

Description: This workshop is for anyone who has heard about the many benefits of journaling but doesn't know where to begin, or those who have started their journaling but want to take their practice deeper. We will go over various journaling styles to find your most effective strategy for unearthing stories, feelings, and ideas. Along the way, you'll learn more about what journaling can do for your mental well-being.
Instructor: Amber Brock, novelist
Amber Brock is the author of the adult historical novels A Fine Imitation and Lady Be Good. A native of South Carolina, she came to Georgia to pursue graduate work at the University of Georgia. She moved to Atlanta in 2006 to teach high school and has taught at several local private schools. She lives in Buckhead with her husband and their rescue dogs.
