DESCRIPTION:<strong>Wednesday, August 19 – Turing Tumble!</strong><br>4:00-4:45 p.m.<br>Smyrna Library, Meeting Room<br>ages: 7-12 years old PLUS parent/grandparent/caregiver<br><strong><a href="https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C084DAEA629A5F94-64911438-tinker" target="_blank" rel="noopener">RSVP – registration required</a></strong><br><br><strong>Event Description:&nbsp;</strong> With just marbles and other components, along with the game board itself, players build simple marble-powered computers (akin to that “Plinko” game on The Price is Right) in order to solve a series of logic puzzles — no electronics required.<br><br>Tinker Lab offers hands-on building activities for kids and adults working together. The library's goal for Tinker Lab is to provide an opportunity for an adult and a child to learn together and work collaboratively to solve a problem or create something new. Tinker Lab is not a drop-in program for all ages. It is designed to be a one-to-one learning experience for elementary-age children and their parent/caregiver. The activities are too complex for younger children.<br><br><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Reminders:</span><br>- Please no daycare groups.<br>- Please do not bring younger siblings.<br>- Please arrive on time.
