Request for Proposal for Dunn Street Drainage Improvements

The City of Smyrna is requesting proposals for the installation of approximately 477 LF. of 18" HDPE and 33 LF. of 18” RCP storm sewer piping including manholes, road cuts, patching, junction boxes and haul off on Dunn Street in Smyrna, GA. 

Proposals are due on Friday, March 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at City Hall, 2800 King Street, HR Training Room, at which time they will be publicly opened.  Proposals must be delivered to the address listed above no later than the time and date indicated. 

The City of Smyrna uses an e-procurement system for electronic solicitation through BidNet Direct and the proposal documents are available on BidNet’s Georgia Purchasing Group website via the City of Smyrna Purchasing Department’s Web Portal for Sealed Bids at https://www.bidnetdirect.com/georgia/cityofsmyrna. 

There is no Pre-Bid Conference, but Contractors are required to visit the work site prior to submitting a proposal.

QUESTIONS: All questions or requests for additional information must reference RFP 22-031 and must be submitted by 12 noon, Wednesday, March 9, 2022, to Kelly Brown, Purchasing Manager at kbrown@smyrnaga.gov.  Addenda will be posted on BidNet Direct.

The City of Smyrna reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals and award in the best interest of the City.
