Downtown Parking Deck
Smyrna, Georgia is seeking bids for a Construction Management at Risk contract to construct the DOWNTOWN PARKING DECK. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, a new parking garage structure. The design includes utility relocation and stormwater infrastructure, reinforced concrete foundations, precast concrete structural components, EV parking accommodations and programming of the proposed parking garage for future vertical expansion of two additional elevated levels including an elevator. The anticipated contract time is 18 months.
SUBMITTAL INSTRUCTIONS
One original and three copies of the bid must be received in a sealed envelope plainly marked "Statement of Qualifications for DOWNTOWN PARKING DECK" with the provided sealed bid label attached to the outside of the envelope.
RFQ packages will be provided via email download link and can be requested from CROY ENGINEERING. Requests can be made via email to zstrickland@croyeng.com or by calling 770-971-5407. A pre-bid & site walk meeting will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 1:00 pm in the HR Training Room at City Hall.
Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) should be submitted to: Kelly Brown, Purchasing Manager, City of Smyrna, 2800 King Street, Smyrna, Georgia 30080, prior to submittal deadline. The Purchasing Department office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The phone number is 678-631-5406.
Submittal deadline will be at 4:00 P.M Friday, August 11, 2023, Purchasing Division, Smyrna City Hall. A representative of the company submitting the bid must sign bids in ink. The City of Smyrna has the right to accept and/or reject any and all submittals.
SUBMITTAL INQUIRIES
All questions or requests for additional information must reference RFQ 24-001 and must be received by email or letter no later than 4:00 p.m., Thursday, August 03, 2023. All questions and answers will be sent to all bidders. No contact will be permitted between bidders and any City staff members or elected officials, except through the Purchasing Manager.
