Get Involved in Community Gardening today!

The Smyrna Community Garden is a 0.5-acre, 98-plot garden located in North Cooper Lake Park. It offers opportunities for sustainable urban agriculture by providing residents with accessible garden plots to grow their own organic produce and flowers.

The community garden fosters environmental stewardship, promotes organic gardening practices, and creates educational opportunities that empower community members to become knowledgeable gardeners. Through shared spaces and shared knowledge, the garden aims to strengthen neighborhood connections, enhance food security, and create a thriving green space that enriches the lives of Smyrna residents.

Location: North Cooper Lake Park, 4201 N. Cooper lake Road, Smyrna Ga 30082

Leasing a Garden Plot:

  • Fill out the garden waitlist form (current wait is estimated to be between 1-6 months)
  • Fees are $50-250 annually based on plot size
  • Plot sizes are 4'x6', 4'x8', 4'x12' and 12'x12' 
  • Leases are 12 month and are given on a first come, first served basis
