The Smyrna Recycling Center, operated by the City of Smyrna and supported by Keep Smyrna Beautiful, is a drop-off facility open to all—residents and non-residents—that offers comprehensive recycling services, education programs, and community engagement to promote environmental stewardship and reduce landfill waste.

Hours of Operation: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, 8:00am-4:00pm and Thursday, 10:00am-6:00pm. Closed Sunday and Monday.
The Smyrna Recycling Center will be closed Saturday, August 30, 2025 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

How to Use the Center
- Presort your items before arrival.
- Enter and park along the building or covered area.
- Self-service drop-off; ask staff for help with special items.
- Place recyclables in the correct bins.
- The center does not pay for any materials dropped off.
Recycling Guidelines
- All containers must be clean, dry, and empty.
- Fees apply to select items (TVs, monitors, and paint).
- Remove tops from plastic containers and glass jars.
- Flatten cardboard.
- Aerosol cans must be completely empty.
Accepted/Unaccepted Materials
*Fees can be paid by cash, card, and check.
Tours: Monthly tours are offered to the public on the 3rd Friday of each month from 9am-10am.
