Volunteers help the Smyrna Parks and Recreation Department to fulfill our mission by extending our ability to provide parks and recreational opportunities to the citizens of Smyrna.  SPRD strives to involve community volunteers in a variety of opportunities, including:  park beautification, community events, special facilities and other recreational programming.  Volunteers contribute greatly by improving safety, aesthetics, and natural values of our parks.  They are also vital to enriching and expanding recreation programs offered by Smyrna Parks and Recreation.
