The Utility Services Department accepts cash, check, money order, Visa, Master Card, and Discover. (We no longer accept American Express.) Use one of the following convenient methods to pay your bill:
- Special Notice (posted Thursday, April 25, 2019): On Friday, May 3, the software system that includes water bill/utility payments will be unavailable from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. during a planned upgrade.
To pay online you will need a login to the Citizen Self-Service site. Instructions for creating a login can be found by clicking here. In addition to paying you can also view current and past bills through this site.

Special message: The City utilizes a 3rd party processor to process online utility bill payments. If you choose to pay your bill online with a credit or debit card, you will be charged a $1.95 convenience fee per transaction.
Effective May 2017, there is a $500 cap, per day, on credit or debit card payments made through the online portal. If your bill is in excess of $500, you can either utilize the e-check option available through the online portal or one of the methods below.

When you use your personal bank's online bill pay,
Payments made at the utility services office at City Hall (2800 King Street, Smyrna, GA 30080) in person or through the night drop box.
You can sign up for a monthly bank draft from a checking or savings account. Your payment will be drafted from your account on the last working day of each month. Your bill will state that you are a bank draft customer and remind you that a payment via a different method is unnecessary. You are always welcome to pay via a different method any time you would like. If you close the account you are having drafted or wish to cancel the bank draft option on your account, please notify our office in writing at least five business days prior to the due date.

PAY IN PERSON
The Utility Services Department of the City of Smyrna handles Water, Sewer and Sanitation billing. Our office is located on the first floor of the City Hall building at 2800 King Street, Smyrna, GA 30080. The drive-up window and night drop are located on the back side of City Hall off Village Walk. Village Walk can be accessed from Stephens Street or Bank Street.
When utilizing the drive-up payment window, please have your bill with you to facilitate a smoother transaction. If you are paying by check, please have your check completely filled out before entering the drive-up. There is a parking lot across the street for your convenience.
Hours of operation are Monday - Friday (except on official City Holidays):
- Drive-up Window: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Inside Office: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Night Drop: Available 24/7
- Online Bill Pay: Available 24/7 (except when down for maintenance)
