The City Of Smyrna Recycling Education Center

PLEASE READ - Update March 31, 2020

As of March 31, 2020 this facility is temporarily closed to public access, as a public health measure during the Social Distancing phase of Covid-19 National Public Health Emergency Response. In keeping with Federal, State and local public health recommendations in the effort to mitigate spread of the coronavirus, the City of Smyrna has decided that City Hall, the Smyrna Library, all Smyrna Parks & Recreation Facilities, the Smyrna Museum, and the Smyrna Recycling Center all close to public access during this phase of the national effort. Staff at these locations will continue to work as usual. Please access the Staff Directory or find the department listing on the City website, at  http://smyrnaga.gov/ to find the number for the department if you have business with the City or the department and for updates.

Please know that your City government is in operation, that Public Safety and Public Works are in full operation. However, there are some non-essential services that are cancelled and/or may be scaled back during this response. This includes services such as educational classes, public event participation and noncriminal fingerprinting services, as example. We thank you for your patience as we all work together during this national response.

During this time, the Recycling Center will not be accepting court-ordered Community Service workers or volunteers. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
