Summer Camps

 

Operations:  Best Summer Ever! Summer Camp

Camp is an exciting experience for a kid and this program will be the highlight of your child's summer.  Our campers will experience the best of in and outdoor sports, on-site activities, arts & crafts, swimming, and so much more.  Each camp session will provide an engaging, fun-filled week of activities for all ages.

  • Location:  Smyrna Community Center
  • Time:  9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. (early drop off and late pick up available)
  • Ages:  5 - 13 years
  • Fee:  $150 Resident / $175 Non Resident (additional fee for early drop off and late pick up)

Sessions:

  • June 3 - June 7          "In the Spotlight"
    • During the first week of camp, the theme puts an emphasis on the children and counselors, as we put them "in the spotlight" and get to know each and every one of them through an array of games, crafts, ice breakers and team building activities.  This is our way of welcoming everyone to their first week of summer camp.
  • June 10 - June 14      "Camp Pic-a-Club"
    • During this week, your child will have a list of clubs to choose from. 
    • June 10 - 14 club options
    • These clubs will open for registration May 27 @ 8:00 a.m.  
    • Clubs have enrollment limitations, and will be first come, first served. 
  • June 17 - June 21      "Time Warp"
    • Every camp plans one decade themed week a summer, but during "Time Warp" week, we are going to try and pack three decades all into one.  Dress in your best attire and show up to camps as we explore the 60s, 70s and 80s.
  • June 24 - June 28        "Camp Pic-a-Club"
    • During this week, your child will have a list of clubs to choose from.  Club options for this week will be posted May 3.  These clubs will open for registration June 10 @ 8:00 a.m.  These clubs will be on a first come, first served.  Clubs will have enrollment limitations.
  • July 08 - July 12          "Survivor"
    • This week the camp will split into groups and each "tribe" will compete in physical and mental "survivor" like competitions, including. obstacle courses, puzzle s and team building exercise  perfect for creating the closest experience the kids can get to being a summer camp survivor.
  • July 15 - July 19          "Camp Pic-a-Club"
    • During this week, your child will have a list of clubs to choose from.  Club options for this week will be posted May 3.  These clubs will open for registration July 1 @ 8:00 a.m.  These clubs will be on a first come, first served.  Clubs will have enrollment limitations.
  • July 22 - July 26          "Camps Got Talent"
    • What would the last week of summer camp be without a Talent Show?  Boring, that's what!  during this week, we are going to re-invent "The Gong Show" and groups will be given an opportunity to create a funny or fabulous skit to perform for the camp.  Which group will steal the show and who will be gonged off the stage?

Gymnastics Camp

Gymnastics camp is operated by Smyrna Gymnastics.

Math & Music Makers Camp

This camp is operated by Math & Music Makers, LLC.
